Mrs. Anna Shaver Campbell, 76, died Sunday night in Culver Hospital after an illness of a week and a half. Born Aug. 6, 1890 west of Shannondale, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Shaver. She married John Campbell on Oct. 4, 1909. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Campbell, who lived on a farm north of Smartsburg, was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, Athens Chapter of OES, Scottish Rite Auxiliary and Modern Athenae. Survivors include a brother, Robert Shaver of Honolulu, Hawaii; a sister, Mrs. Edith Farris of Davenport, Iowa; two grandsons, Larry Campbell of Seattle, Wash., and Gerald E. Campbell of near Smartsburg, and three great-grandchildren. A son, Gerald, died in 1947. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Shaver Campbell were held Wednesday afternoon in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Larimore K. Wickett officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were Walter Peck, Russell Butler, Jesse Caster, Walter Eversull, Noel Shaver and Lloyd Asberry. Selections were played on the organ by Mrs. O. C. Edwards. Mrs. Campbell, widow of John Campbell, died Sunday evening in Culver Hospital. - kbz
